UNILAG Online Post-UTME Screening 2025/2026 (Rules, Login Guide…)

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has outlined clear procedures for its 2025/2026 Post-UTME Online Screening Exercise. To ensure a smooth process, candidates are required to adhere strictly to the set rules, familiarize themselves with the login process, participate in the mock exam, and know how to seek help when needed.

Rules for the Online Post-UTME

To maintain fairness and order during the examination, UNILAG mandates the following rules:

  • Candidates must use a laptop with a functional webcam and microphone. Phones are not allowed.
  • Sit in a well-lit room where your face is clearly visible to the camera.
  • Do not cover your face with masks, caps, hats, or sunglasses.
  • Headphones, external cameras, and earphones are strictly prohibited.
  • Once the exam begins, candidates must remain seated and visible on camera throughout the duration (about 30 minutes).
  • Movement away from the system, muting video/audio, or switching apps may result in automatic disqualification.
  • Each candidate must participate in the mock test before attempting the real exam.
How to Login

To access your exam, please follow these steps:

  • Click on the “Go to WebTest” button on the UNILAG portal.
  • Alternatively, use the “Click Here To Take Exam” button found in your email.
  • You can also visit unilag.proctee.webtest.ng directly. Use your UTME number as your username and your surname in lowercase as your password.

Important:

  • Before logging in, you must download and install the specified Secure Exam Browser (SEB) compatible with Windows 8.1+ or macOS Ventura.
  • After installation, grant all required permissions and select “Click here to take your exam” to start.
The Mock Exam

The mock exam is scheduled for Monday, August 25 to Wednesday, August 27, 2025.

Its purpose is to:

  • Help candidates install and test the Secure Exam Browser.
  • Familiarize students with the online test environment before the actual Post-UTME.
  • Detect and resolve any technical or network issues early.

Note: Participation in the mock exam is mandatory. Candidates who skip it risk facing technical challenges during the real test.

Support and Help

UNILAG has provided support channels to assist candidates before and during the exam:

  • Use the “Need Help?” button on the exam login page and submission page to report any issues immediately.
  • Official Support Email: [email protected]
  • Hotlines: 09053006772 or 08141656802

Candidates are advised to report issues promptly and check their registered email regularly for updates from the university.

Success in UNILAG’s 2025/2026 Post-UTME online screening lies not only on your academic readiness but also on your adherence to the rules, effective use of the login system, active participation in the mock exam, and prompt engagement with support channels when issues arise.
