FUPRE offers a Foundation (JUPEB) Program. The JUPEB program is an intensive one-year preparatory course designed to enable successful candidates to gain direct admission into 200-level degree programs.
Eligibility
To be considered for admission into the JUPEB Program, applicants must:
- Possess five (5) O-Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language.
- Awaiting results are not accepted for the Foundation/JUPEB program
- To gain admission, you will need to sit for a qualifying entrance exam. Upon passing, you will be required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of ₦50,000.
- Additionally, purchasing the JAMB Direct Entry form is essential to facilitate your transition into 200 level after completing JUPEB.
- Please note that if you are admitted and later decide to withdraw, there will be no refund provided.
Application Procedure & Fees
- Application is done online via FUPRE’s Sub-Degree portal: subdegree.fupre.edu.ng.
- Non-refundable application fee: ₦15,000 only.
- Be sure to complete and submit the form before the deadline.
- Take a moment to review your details for accuracy before you send it. Please note that incomplete forms will not be accepted by the system.
Required Documents for Application
Upon invitation, candidates should prepare:
- Receipt of application fee payment
- Online application confirmation page
- Local Government Identification Letter
- O-Level Result
- Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
- Colored Passport Photographs
These documents will be essential both during application and for physical verification if required.
Important Dates
- Application Closing Date: Sunday, 14th September 2025
- Entrance Examination: Thursday, 18th September 2025, at 9:00 AM, held at FUPRE ICT Building
- Lectures Starts: Monday, 20th October 2025.
By meeting the academic and administrative requirements, and performing well in the qualifying exam, you stand a strong chance of securing a place in your desired program. So prepare documents early. Ensure your O’level results an ID letter are ready.
