University of Lagos (UNILAG) Post‑UTME Screening 2025/2026

UNILAG’s online registration for the Post‑UTME screening begins Monday, July 28, 2025, and closes Wednesday, August 23, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet all the following:

  • UNILAG selected as first choice in the 2025 UTME
  • UTME score of 200 or above
  • At least five (5) credit passes in O‑Level at a single sitting, including English Language and Mathematics
  • Age at least 16 years by September 30, 2025
  • O‑Level results uploaded to JAMB CAPS by September 12, 2025

Additional notes:

  • Participation in the online aptitude test is mandatory; skipping it disqualifies you
  • Former UNILAG students whose admission was withdrawn for poor performance/absence may reapply only for a different programme
  • Expelled students are not eligible for readmission
Fees & Payment
  • Application Fee: ₦2,000
  • Administrative Fee: ₦3,500 (portal access)
  • Total Payable: ₦5,500 via bank or online platforms

Registration Procedure

  1. Access the UNILAG website → Click “Admissions” → Select “Post‑UTME Application”
  2. Log in: Username = UTME application number; Password = surname in lowercase
  3. Generate and print payment advice, then pay at any commercial bank or online
  4. Return to portal to complete screening form → Provide personal bio-data, JAMB details, O’Level info, and upload required documents
  5. Print Post‑UTME Examination Pass (admission ticket) upon successful registration
Post‑UTME & Mock Exams Schedule
  • Mock Exam (Online): August 25–27, 2025
  • Official Post‑UTME Test (Online): September 1–5, 2025
Admission Scoring & Requirements

UNILAG uses a points system for admissions:

  • JAMB UTME Score: 50%
  • O’Level Result (aggregate): 20%
  • Post‑UTME Test: 30%

Candidates must meet program-specific cut-off criteria based on this composite score.

Rules & Regulations
  • No false documents allowed—forged credentials lead to automatic disqualification and possible expulsion
  • Payments should be made only via official UNILAG channels—do not pay individuals or agents
  • Name changes or alteration of application type is not permitted after submission
  • Drug tests: UNILAG enforces a zero-tolerance policy; positive results before or after admission may result in withdrawal of admission
