FCE (Special) Oyo (Affiliated to UI) Post‑UTME/DE Screening Form 2025/2026

The Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo—Nigeria’s only specialized institution for special education—affiliated with the University of Ibadan (UI), is expected to open its Post‑UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening for the 2025/2026 academic year. The college offers NCE programs and undergraduate degree courses through its UI affiliation.

Eligible Programs

  • NCE (Nigeria Certificate in Education)
  • Pre‑NCE
  • Undergraduate UI‑affiliated degrees in Education (e.g., Special Education, Primary Education, Educational Management, Guidance & Counselling, Human Kinetics, Education Mathematics, CRK/Islamic Studies)

Available Courses

The College provides full-time undergraduate programs that have received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC). Below are the courses you can choose from:

  • Education/Christian Religious Studies
  • Education/English
  • Education/French
  • Education/Islamic Studies
  • Education/Mathematics
  • Educational Management
  • Guidance and Counselling
  • Human Kinetics
  • Primary Education Studies
  • Special Education

Note: Courses marked with a slash (/) are combined as minor teaching subjects only.

Eligibility Criteria

UTME Candidates
  • Must have sat the JAMB UTME and scored ≥ 200
  • Must have chosen FCE (Special) Oyo as first or second choice, or have changed their institution to FCE Oyo via JAMB portal
Direct Entry (DE) Applicants
  • Must possess valid Direct Entry credentials (OND/NCE/A’Levels/HND) and have registered with JAMB
  • Departmental entry requirements apply

Application Process

Based on past exercises, applicants should prepare the following:

  1. Online application submitted via the FCE Oyo portal.
  2. Processing fee: ₦2,000 (payable online via Paystack or Remita).
  3. Upload scanned documents:
    • UTME e‑slip
    • O’Level results (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB)
    • DE credentials and NCE results for DE applicants
    • Recent passport photo (50–100 KB JPEG/JPG)
  4. Complete biographical form in capital letters; edit before final submission.
  5. Print completed application form to present at the screening venue.
Important Notice
  • Screening dates will be communicated via your email or phone number.
  • Please note that paying the ₦2,000 fee does not ensure admission.
  • Direct Entry applicants are required to submit two copies of their credentials and forms at the Directorate of Degree Programs before the deadline.
  • Ensure that you provide only authentic and valid documents, as any falsification may result in disqualification and possible legal action. Additionally, a valid scratch card is necessary for the verification of your WAEC or NECO results.
