Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, Ikot Ekpene, has announced the release of its ND Fourth and Fifth Supplementary Admission Lists for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to the institution, candidates whose names appear on the list have been offered admission through the JAMB CAPS portal. This point is important, as all admitted candidates are expected to act promptly and complete the required steps without delay.
Where to Check the Admission List
Candidates can access the admission list via the official notice shared online. The list is available through the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic Facebook post displaying the names of successful candidates.
What Admitted Candidates Should
The Polytechnic outlined specific steps that must be followed in sequence:
1. Accept Admission on JAMB CAPS
- Candidates must log in to the JAMB CAPS portal and accept their admission. If the status is still showing as pending, acceptance must be completed immediately. This step is mandatory and serves as official confirmation of the admission.
2. Generate Acceptance Fee Invoice on the School Portal
- Admitted candidates should visit a cybercafé and generate an invoice for the non-refundable acceptance fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (₦15,000) on the school portal.
- Acceptance fee payment commences immediately and should only be done via the official Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic student portal.
3. Proceed to the Department with the Remita Invoice
- After generating the Remita invoice, candidates are to proceed to their respective departments for screening and further registration processes.
Required Documents for Screening
Candidates are advised to come along with the following documents:
- JAMB Admission Letter (printed from the JAMB portal)
- Original credentials, as required by the department during screening
Failure to present the necessary original documents may delay the registration process.
Important Warning on Payments
- The Polytechnic strongly warned candidates not to give money to anyone, including friends, agents, or relatives. Candidates are also advised not to make payments into any POS or personal account.
- All payments must be made strictly through official school channels, and receipts must correspond with the portal-generated invoices.
The institution further informed prospective students that additional admission lists will be released soon and advised candidates who are yet to be admitted to remain patient.
