The Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has officially opened its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening for the 2025/2026 academic session. This applies to candidates who chose ATBU as their first-choice institution.

Eligible applicants include:

UTME candidates who scored 160 or above in the 2025 JAMB.
Direct Entry (DE) candidates who selected ATBU as their first choice.

Application Fee & Registration Details

A non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000 is required for both Post-UTME and DE candidates, payable via Remita.

To apply:

Visit ATBU’s official screening portal at: screening.atbu.edu.ng.
Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) and complete the ₦2,000 payment.
Log in with your JAMB Registration Number, select ATBU as your institution, and access the screening form.
Upload the required documents as directed on the portal.
Complete all fields, submit the form, and print your acknowledgment slip — this serves as proof of successful registration.

Screening Timeline

The online screening commences on Friday, 22nd August 2025.
While closing date is not yet explicitly confirmed, past screening cycles typically extend into late October or early November. Keep monitoring official channels for updates or announcements.
After successful screening, candidates are advised to monitor JAMB CAPS for admission status, print the admission letter, and proceed with acceptance formalities as soon as possible.
