University of Jos (UNIJOS) Post-UTME/ DE Screening 2025/2026 Academic Session

The University of Jos (UNIJOS) has officially opened its online Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening for the 2025/2026 academic session. Registration is available only to candidates who selected UNIJOS as their first choice and meet the departmental cut-off marks. The exercise runs exclusively online from 18 August to 30 September 2025.

Who Is Eligible?
  • UTME Candidates: Must have scored a minimum of 180 in JAMB. Specific programs require higher scores depending on competitiveness.
  • Direct Entry (DE) Candidates: Must pay the screening fee and meet any relevant eligibility criteria.
  • Mandatory Requirement: Upload your O’Level (WAEC/NECO) results to JAMB CAPS before beginning the screening process.
Registration Steps: How to Apply

1. Create an Account

  1. Visit the official portal at portal.unijos.edu.ng.
  2. Click on FORMS APPLICATION, and choose “2025 UTME/DE Screening”.
  3. Read any pop-up notices, then close them.
  4. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click Get Started.
  5. Fill in your email, phone number, and set a password to register.
  6. Submit the form.
  7. Check your email and activate your account via the confirmation link.

2. Pay the Screening Fee

  1. Log in with your new credentials.
  2. Click “Make Payment” on your dashboard.
  3. Complete the payment process, following the instructions.
  4. Print both the portal payment receipt and the Remita receipt sent to your email.
  5. Click “Proceed” to print your screening summary—keep it safe.

Important Reminders
  • First-choice requirement: Only those who chose UNIJOS as their first choice in JAMB are allowed to register.
  • JAMB CAPS Compliance: Upload your O’Level results and accept any admission within four weeks, or it won’t reflect on your UNIJOS portal.
  • Disqualification Risks: Failure to follow any of the guidelines—no result upload, missed payment, or incomplete registration—may lead to exclusion from admission consideration.
  • Deadline: All registration must be completed by 30 September 2025. No extensions have been announced.
