UNIUYO Admission List 2025/2026 Now Available on JAMB CAPS

The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has officially released the 2025/2026 admission list. Prospective students can now check their status via the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

How to Check Your Admission Status

Here is a step-by-step guide to checking whether you have been offered admission to UNIUYO for the 2025/2026 academic session:

  1. Go to JAMB e-Facility (CAPS) portal
  2. Log in with your JAMB registration email and password.
  3. On your dashboard, locate “Check Admission Status”.
  4. Click “Access my CAPS”.
  5. Click “Admission Status” to see whether an admission has been offered.
  6. If you are using a mobile browser and see only a limited view, switch to “Desktop view / mode” in your browser (this reveals full CAPS options).
  7. If you see “Admission Offered”, proceed to accept or reject the offer via the portal.

This same procedure is used for all institutions that upload their admission lists to CAPS, including UNIUYO.

What to Do After You’re Admitted

If you see Admission Offered, here are the immediate steps you should take:

  1. Accept the Admission
    • On CAPS, choose “Accept” or “Reject”. Use the phone number tied to your JAMB profile to send ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019, if required.
  2. Print your JAMB Admission Letter
    • This is usually available for download from the portal after accepting the offer.
  3. Prepare for Screening / Verification
    • UNIUYO will most likely require you to present original credentials (O-Level certificates, birth certificate, etc.) for verification.
  4. Pay Acceptance / Registration Fees
    • UNIUYO generally requires an acceptance or registration fee to secure your place.
  5. Complete Registration / Matriculation
    • Follow school directives for course registration and matriculation.

Take note: failure to accept the admission on CAPS in time may result in forfeiting the offer.

Important Notes
  • Some lists (e.g. departmental, affiliated colleges) may be released separately. For example, the AKSCOE-UNIUYO (Affiliated with UNIUYO) degree list has already been published. Candidates must check via CAPS similarly.
  • If your status is still “Not Admitted” or “In Progress”, do not panic. More lists could follow, especially in “supplementary” or “second batch” releases.
  • Always use official portals (JAMB CAPS, UNIUYO e-portals) to check your status. Beware of scams.
  • Ensure your O-Level results are uploaded in JAMB (if awaiting result). Admissions will not be processed without result verification.
  • Mobile users may not see full CAPS features unless they use desktop mode.
