✅ Admission Requirements

Prospective candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in O’Level examinations (WAEC, NECO, or equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
• Additional subject requirements vary depending on the chosen course. For instance:
  • Marine Engineering: Physics and Chemistry are compulsory.
  • Nautical Science: Geography is required.
  • Shipping Management: Economics is essential.
  • Have a valid JAMB result (optional but beneficial for institution change).
  • Note: The JAMB cut-off mark for SMA is 100. Applicants can apply with or without a JAMB score.
• Candidates must be at least 16 years old by December 31 of the admission year.

• Acceptance Fee: ₦35,000
• Student File Fee: ₦5,000
• Online Examination Fee: ₦55,000

   • Purchase the application form for a non-refundable fee of ₦10,000.
   • Submit the completed form along with:
     • Four (4) recent passport photographs.
     • Photocopies of O’Level results.
     • Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age.
     • State of Origin certificate.
   • Pay the acceptance fee (₦30,000) and student file fee (₦1,000).

1. Online Application:
   • Visit the Stars Maritime Academy Application Portal.
   • Fill out the application form with accurate personal and academic information.
   • Upload the required documents, including passport photographs and O’Level results.
   • Proceed to make the necessary payments as outlined above.
