Summit University, Offa, offers a full suite of postgraduate programs across its two colleges:
College of Management & Social Sciences (COMAS) and College of Natural & Applied Sciences (CONAS), including:

  • PhD in Accounting

Department of Business Administration

2. Admission Requirements

A. General O‑Level Requirement

All candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes at O‑Level (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB), in subjects including English and Mathematics, achievable in no more than two sittings.

B. By Program

  • PGD:
    • First degree (any discipline) with at least Third-Class, or
    • HND with Minimum Lower Credit in a cognate field.
  • MSc:
    • Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Class Lower, or
    • A PGD with CGPA ≥ 3.0/5.0 in a related field.
  • MPhil:
    • Academic Master’s degree with CGPA ≥ 2.5/5.0 and thesis score ≥ 50%.
  • PhD:
    • Academic Master’s degree with CGPA ≥ 3.0/5.0 and thesis score ≥ 55%, or
    • MPhil in relevant area.

COMAS-specific details—for example, for Business Administration—mirror these criteria: Bachelor’s (2:2+), Master’s (60%+) depending on program.

3. Application Procedures

  1. Download/create account on the Summit University Postgraduate portal.
  2. Fill in personal and academic details and upload required documents (O‑Level, degree, transcripts, certificates).
  3. Pay application fee of ₦20,000 online through the portal.
  4. Submit form before the deadline.
  5. Await provisional admission.
