The Bloom Scholars Program 2025

The Bloom Scholars Program is a tuition-only award offering up to US $500 per year for up to four years—designed to support young African female leaders committed to academic excellence and social change.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, you must:

  • Be a female citizen of any African country
  • Recently graduated from secondary school
  • Plan to attend a recognized university in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, or South Africa in 2025
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Show leadership potential and commitment to community impact
Scholarship Benefits
  • Tuition support: up to US $500 annually, renewable for up to four years.
  • Leadership training and mentorship provided to developing young change-makers.

  • Application opens mid‑2025 via online form hosted through Typeform or the official Bloom site

  • High school transcript
  • Final secondary school exam results
  • Admission or provisional letter from your university
  • College/post-secondary exam results (where applicable)
  • Responses to short essay prompts (up to seven)
  • Completed recommendation form from a mentor, teacher, or community leader
