Federal University of Technology (FUTIA) 2025/2026 Admission List Released

The management of the Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi (FUTIA) has officially released the admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates who took part in the university’s Post-UTME screening exercise can now check their admission status on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

How to Check FUTIA Admission Status on JAMB CAPS

Follow these simple steps to check if you’ve been offered admission:

  1. Visit the JAMB e-facility portal.
  2. Log in with your registered email address and password.
  3. Click on “Check Admission Status.”
  4. Select “Access my CAPS”, then click “Admission Status.”
  5. If offered admission, click “ACCEPT” to confirm the offer or “REJECT” to decline.

Note:

  • It is important to accept your admission on JAMB CAPS. Failure to do so may result in losing your admission offer or being excluded from the matriculation list.
  • All successful candidates are to log in to the university portal at portal.futia.edu.ng to pay their acceptance fee.
  • The screening and registration exercise will hold at the University Lecture Theatre, Takeoff Campus, Ikot Abasi, from Monday, 6th October to Monday, 20th October, 2025, starting each day by 9:00 a.m.

Candidates are required to come with the original copies of all necessary documents, including:

  • JAMB result slip
  • Admission letter
  • O’Level result(s)
  • Birth certificate
  • Certificate of origin
  • Recent passport photographs
  • Other listed credentials as stated by the university

The university noted that admissions are released in batches, so candidates who have not yet been admitted should keep checking their JAMB CAPS for updates.

FUTIA also cautioned all applicants against dealing with unauthorized agents and reminded them that all payments must be made only through the official university portal.
