The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has officially released its admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). Prospective students who applied for admission into the institution can now check their admission status and accept or reject their offers through the JAMB CAPS portal.
How to Check UNIABUJA Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
Candidates are advised to follow the steps below to confirm their admission status:
- Visit the JAMB e-facility portal via https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng.
- Login with your registered email address and password.
- Navigate to Check Admission Status.
- Select your examination year and input your JAMB registration number.
- Click on Access My CAPS.
- Proceed to the Admission Status section to see if you have been offered admission.
- If admitted, click on Accept Admission to confirm your offer.
If you got accepted, you can say yes or no to the admission. Just send ACCEPT or REJECT as a text message to 55019 or 66019 from the phone number connected to your JAMB profile. You have 4 weeks to decide. If you can’t use your registered phone number, go to a JAMB center to say yes or no.
Important Notes for Candidates
- Candidates are advised to accept their admission promptly to avoid forfeiting their slot.
- After accepting admission on JAMB CAPS, successful candidates should print their JAMB Admission Letter.
- UNIABUJA will later release guidelines for screening and registration, which all admitted candidates must follow.
- Candidates who are yet to see their admission status are encouraged to keep checking as the admission process is released in batches.
Next Steps for Admitted Students
Admitted students are to:
- Pay the required acceptance fee as directed by the university.
- Proceed with physical screening and verification at the university.
- Complete their registration by paying school fees and obtaining the matriculation number.
