The University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, has officially announced the commencement of admissions into its Post Basic Occupational Health Nursing Program for the 2025/2026 academic session. This specialized course is designed for registered nurses aiming to advance their careers in occupational health nursing.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission into the programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Registered Nurse (RN): Must be a registered nurse with a current practicing license issued by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
  • Educational Qualifications: Possess five (5) credit passes in O’Level subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, obtained in not more than two sittings from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB examinations.

Application Procedure

Interested candidates should follow these steps to apply:

  1. Payment of Application Fee: Pay a non-refundable fee of ₦20,000 via the Remita platform into the UCH Ibadan TSA Account designated for the School of Occupational Health Nursing.
  2. Receipt Collection: Present the Remita payment slip at the UCH Accounts Department to obtain an official receipt.
  3. Online Application: Visit the UCH Ibadan application portal, download the Applicant User Guide, and complete the online application form as instructed.
  4. Document Submission: Print two copies of the completed application form and the Photocard. Submit these documents to the School of Occupational Health Nursing for authentication.
  5. Additional Payment: Pay an additional ₦200 to the Oyo State Nursing and Midwifery Committee Account at First Bank (Account Number: 2019704292).
