UNN Opens Shopping/Change of Course Application for 2025/2026 Session

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has announced the opening of its Shopping/Change of Course application for the 2025/2026 academic session. This process gives candidates who chose UNN as their first choice in the 2025/2026 UTME but have not yet been offered admission the chance to apply for other available courses in different faculties.

To qualify, candidates must have scored at least 160 in both the UTME and Post-UTME, with an overall average of 160 or above.

How to Apply

Eligible applicants should follow these steps to complete the process:

  1. Visit the UNN official portal.
  2. Log in with your JAMB Registration Number to generate and print a payment invoice containing your Remita number.
  3. Pay a ₦10,000 processing fee at any commercial bank using the generated Remita number.
  4. Collect a confirmation slip showing your Confirmation Number and Invoice Number.
  5. Return to the UNN portal to fill out the Shopping/Change of Course form using your JAMB and invoice details.

Application Period:

  • Opening Date: Monday, 20th October 2025
  • Closing Date: Friday, 24th October 2025
Important Notes
  • Applicants must meet both the university’s general admission requirements and the specific departmental requirements for their chosen course.
  • Only candidates who took the correct UTME subject combinations are eligible.
  • Students admitted through this shopping process cannot switch to another course during the 2025/2026 academic session.
