Delta State University (DELSU) has reminded all undergraduate students about the deadline for school fees payment and course registration for the 2025/2026 academic session. The 2025/2026 Academic Calendar originally set the deadline for 19 December 2025. However, the university management has extended the deadline to 18 January 2026.
What the Extension Covers
The extension is for two main requirements:
- Payment of school fees
- Completion of course registration
Students who have not completed these steps are expected to use this extra time to do so. The notice emphasizes that there will be no further extension beyond 18 January 2026.
Consequences of Missing the Deadline
The notice makes it clear that only students who pay their school fees and register their courses on time will be allowed to:
- Take part in continuous assessment, and
- Sit for the first semester examinations.
If a student fails to meet the extended deadline, they will not be allowed to participate in academic activities or write examinations.
