Rivers State University 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭‑𝐔𝐓𝐌𝐄/𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 (DE) Screening for the 2025/2026 Academic Session

Rivers State University, based in Port Harcourt, has officially opened its Post-UTME screening for the 2025/2026 session. The registration and examination details below give you everything you need to prepare and succeed.

Who Is Eligible?

  1. First-choice UTME applicants: You must have chosen RSU as your first choice on JAMB).
  2. Minimum UTME score: Candidates who scored 190 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are qualified to apply for the screening exercise in all the Faculties of the University.
  3. O’Level results: Five credit passes including English and Mathematics in no more than two sittings. Awaiting result options may be allowed.
  4. DE applicants: Must upload A‑Level, ND, NCE, or IJMB results during registration.

  • Screening fee: ₦2,000, non‑refundable
  • Accepted payment methods: ATM cards (Interswitch / Verve / Paystack) or bank deposit/pay‑direct options.

  1. Visit the official portal: ecampus.rsu.edu.ng or www.rsu.edu.ng.
  2. Create an account or log in. Provide personal details, valid email, and an active phone number .
  3. Pay ₦2,000 via ATM or bank options.
  4. Complete the online form: input personal info, JAMB registration, O’Level and DE credentials if applicable .
  5. Upload documents: digital passport photograph, O’Level/DE results, UTME result slip, LGA letter or age declaration, birth certificate, and two passport photos .
  6. Submit and print your screening slip. This includes your assigned date, time, and venue).

  • Application Starts: Monday, 14th July, 2025.
  • Application Ends: Saturday, 16th August 2025.

  • Format: Computer-Based Test (CBT) at ICTC on campus.
