UNIMED Post-UTME 2025:Eligibility, Cut-off Mark & Registration Details

Are you planning to study at the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo (UNIMED) for the 2025/2026 academic session? If yes, then it’s time to get ready for the Post-UTME screening — an important step for all UTME and Direct Entry candidates seeking admission into Nigeria’s first specialized medical university. Cut-off Mark

  • The minimum required JAMB UTME score for UNIMED is 150 for all courses.
  • However, competitive courses like Medicine & Surgery, Dentistry, Nursing, and Physiotherapy usually require much higher scores to boost your chances.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to apply for UNIMED’s Post-UTME screening, you must:

  • Choose UNIMED as your first-choice institution in JAMB.
  • Score at least 150 in the 2025 UTME.
  • Have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant O’Level subjects (including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) in one sitting for Medicine, Dentistry & Physiotherapy; or in not more than two sittings for other programmes.
  • Be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025.
  • Direct Entry candidates must possess acceptable A-Level, ND, HND, or Degree qualifications and submit their official transcripts to the Registrar.

      How to Register

      Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to register for the UNIMED 2025 Post-UTME:

      1. Visit the portal: Go to www.unimed.edu.ng.
      2. Navigate to Admission ➔ Post-UTME ➔ Apply.
      3. Make a non-refundable payment of ₦2,000 using a valid debit card through the secure online platform.
      4. After payment, log in with your UTME/DE Reg. Number and Transaction ID.
      5. Complete the online application form carefully.
      6. Upload required documents: passport photograph, UTME result slip, O’Level results, and other relevant credentials.
      7. Print your completed registration slip — this will include your screening schedule.
      Screening Dates
      • The Post-UTME screening exercise will hold from August 26 to August 28, 2025.
      • The venue, exact date, and time for each applicant will be stated on the screening slip.
      • The exam is Computer-Based (CBT) — typically 50 multiple-choice questions in your subject combination.
      Important Notes
      • UNIMED does not accept payments through agents. Use only the official online portal.
      • All applicants must attend on their scheduled date and time. Failure to do so means automatic disqualification.
      • Stay updated by checking your email, the official website, and your application portal regularly.
