Cut-off Mark

The approved UTME cut-off mark for Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic for the 2025/2026 academic session is 100. Some highly competitive courses may require higher scores for better chances of admission.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Akwa Poly Post-UTME screening:

  • You must have scored 100 or above in the 2025 UTME.
  • You must have selected Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic as your First Choice Institution (or effect a change to first choice if necessary).
  • You must have at least five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
  • You must be at least 16 years old at the time of admission.

Registration Details

  • Application Fee: ₦2,000 (excluding bank charges).
  • Visit the official school portal at www.akwaibompoly.edu.ng.
  • Click on Online Application and generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number.
  • Make the payment at any commercial bank using the RRR.
  • Return to the portal to complete the registration form.
  • Upload clear scanned copies of the following documents:
    • 2025 UTME result slip
    • O’Level results with a valid scratch card (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB)
    • Recent passport photograph
  • Print out the Acknowledgement Slip, which you must present on the screening day.
