Gombe State University (GSU) CODL Registration Notice for 2025/2026 Session

The Centre for Open and Distance Learning (CODL) at Gombe State University (GSU) has announced the start of registration for the 2025/2026 academic session. This registration exercise is for students running part-time degree and diploma programs under the center.

The notice is meant for both newly admitted students and those who are already enrolled and returning for the new session. All students concerned are expected to take note of the information and act accordingly.

Registration Timeline

According to the announcement, registration officially started on Monday, 5 January 2026. All affected students are expected to complete their registration on or before Thursday, 5 February 2026.

The university has provided this period to allow students enough time to complete all necessary steps. Students who are working or handling family responsibilities are advised to plan well and avoid waiting until the last minute. Failure to register within the given timeframe may lead to delays or other challenges during the academic session.

Affected Students

This registration notice applies to all part-time students and diploma students under the Center for Open and Distance Learning. It covers both fresh students who are just joining the program and returning students who are continuing their studies.

All students in these categories are expected to comply with the registration instructions as approved by the university management.

Official Signatory

The registration notice was officially signed by Dr. Haruna Usman Modibbo, the Deputy Director (Academic & Operations) of the Centre for Open and Distance Learning.

His signature confirms that the announcement is an official directive from CODL and should be taken seriously by all concerned students.

Direction to Program Coordinators

The management of CODL has directed all Program Coordinators to ensure that this information reaches every student under their programs. The notice was also shared with the Director of CODL, the Deputy Director of IT and Learner Support, all Program Coordinators, and the university’s E-Notice Board.

This means students may receive the information through different channels. However, students are still expected to take personal responsibility for completing their registration within the approved dates.
