  • Cut‑off mark: Minimum 150 in UTME
  • Screening fee: ₦2,000 per applicant

Who Is Eligible?

UTME Candidates:

  • Must score 150 or above in the 2025 JAMB UTME.
  • Must have chosen FUTO as their first-choice institution. If not, you can change this on the JAMB portal before applying.
  • Have at least 5 credits in O’Level, including English and Maths, plus three related subjects. MBBS applicants must have all five in one sitting.

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:

  • Must hold a recognized qualification: ND, HND, A‑Level, or First Degree in a related field.
  • Must have selected FUTO as their first-choice university for DE.

  • Agriculture: Agribusiness, Animal Science, Crop Science
  • Biological Sciences: Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology
  • Environmental Sciences: Surveying, Urban Planning
  • Engineering: Polymer & Textile, Agricultural, Food Tech
  • Physical Sciences: Chemistry, Maths, Physics
  • Logistics & Innovation: Maritime, Project Management
  • Health: Dental Tech, Environmental Health
  • Social Development: Procurement, Sustainability
Courses that need 170 and above
  • ICT: Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering
  • Health: Public Health, Optometry, Prosthetics
  • Engineering: Civil, Chemical, Mechanical
  • Architecture, Telecommunication, Electronics
200 and above
  • College of Medicine (MBBS only)

How to Apply

  1. Visit the FUTO application portal.
  2. Make payment of ₦2,000 online via debit card or other approved methods.
  3. Log in with your JAMB Registration Number. Your surname is used as the default password.
  4. Fill out the online form with accurate personal and academic details.
  5. Upload all required documents, including O’Level results (WAEC/NECO) and any relevant DE certificates.
  6. Print your registration slip and payment receipt for your records.
Screening Method
  • There is no written examination.
  • Candidates are screened based on their UTME score, O’Level grades, and Direct Entry qualifications.
  • If you’re awaiting results, ensure you upload your O’Level results to JAMB CAPS before the deadline.
After Applying

Once the screening closes, FUTO will review all applications. Successful candidates will receive updates via the FUTO portal and must check regularly for their screening status, admission offer, and matriculation details.
