University of Lagos (UNILAG) DLI Releases 3rd Batch Admission List for 2025/2026 Session

The Distance Learning Institute, University of Lagos has released the third batch admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. Applicants who have been admitted should first check their admission status on the DLI admission list portal. After confirming admission, they must go to the Administrative Unit (2nd Floor, DLI Building) for screening, which is compulsory.

Batch Three Screening Details

The Batch Three screening exercise begins on Monday, 16 February 2026.

Screening Venues
  • Nurudeen Alao Auditorium, Distance Learning Institute Building
  • Block A Classroom, Ground Floor, Distance Learning Institute Building
Screening Time
  • 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Monday to Friday)
Documents Required for Screening

Candidates should come along with the following:

  • Application form
  • Testimonial (Primary or Secondary) — Original
  • O’Level certificate(s) — Original
  • Higher qualification certificates for Direct Entry (HND, OND, NCE, ICAN, or other professional certificates)
  • NYSC certificate, exemption, or exclusion letter (Direct Entry candidates)
  • Birth certificate or sworn affidavit issued before the admission advertisement
  • Marriage documents and change-of-name affidavit (for married female candidates)
Documents Required After Payment of Fees (Registration)

After paying the required fees, admitted students must provide:

  • Application form
  • Admission letter (coloured and laminated)
  • Testimonial (photocopy)
  • Student information form
  • O’Level certificate(s) (photocopy)
  • Direct Entry qualification certificates (if applicable)
  • NYSC certificate/exemption/exclusion (Direct Entry)
  • Online acceptance letter
  • Online biodata form
  • Approved course registration form
  • Handwritten letter showing readiness to pay service charges
  • Reference letter from employer or sponsor (original)
  • Reference letter from a lawyer, clergy, imam, or senior civil servant
  • Online payment receipt
  • Birth certificate or sworn affidavit
  • Marriage documents (for married female candidates)
  • Four passport photographs (white background, with name and matriculation number written at the back)
  • JAMB slip
Important Notice

Candidates who fail to attend the screening within one month may lose their admission, so they are advised to complete the process as soon as possible.

Admitted students should also beware of fraudsters, as the university does not use agents or third parties for admission processing. For any questions or clarification, candidates should visit the Institute Secretary’s office.
